High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. You can rely on a few salad options though. If lucky, you may find low-sodium ribs as well at the restaurant.

Foods to Avoid at Applebee's for High Blood Pressure

Avoid Green Goddess Wedge at Applebee's. Broccoli Cheese Soup and French Onion Soup contain over 1000mg sodium and hence must be skipped as well. Skip all the chicken dishes and seafood at Applebee's except Grilled Chicken Breast and Baked Haddock without sides respectively. You must also skip Brunch Burger, Quesadilla Burger, Triple Bacon Burger, and Whiskey Bacon Burger at Applebee's. High sodium intake can be lethal for a high blood pressure candidate. Great place! Its my new usual place for happy hour. I get to drink beer and play cards ( I'm 29 years old) Delicious food ( have grilled cheese sandwich of the day) a very wide eclectic selection of beers from IPA's to stouts to Shandy's and ciders. You just grab what beer you want from the cooler. No need to wait on A waiter or bartender.

Best food and beer in town. We got the cheese burger with bacon, risotto balls and buffalo wings. This place has all its ducks in a row.

First off I love the fact they have board games here sooo I am bias. I do enjoy the fact you walk up to the fridge yourself and choose your beer...for me this is fun. I had the wings which were great...not the best but I am not picky when it cokes to wings. Overall I like the service, food and price is on point.

Great beer selection, some taps, cold glasses, very casual vibe, few food items but well prepared, hefty portions, parking is a breeze compared to Atlantic Ave, also less clueless tourists than other places, I guess if u took the time to come here, u are not about to drink a macro brew, try a different style perhaps? Good way to try a beer before committing to a 6 pack at ur favorite liquor store.

I decided to come to this place and bring my friends because of the unique set up. I am a pretty casual guy and the idea that you can take a beer from a cooler and pay at the end of the night using the honor system seemed like a great concept. I came here with a few of my friends on a Tuesday night, 2 for 1 Burger night. Gene Playter, the owner was there taking care of us the whole night. There was live music with the likes of Keith Michaud. He played several sets. He played acoustic guitar and was very good. The concept is very simple. You pick a beer or soda or wine out of the cooler and enjoy it inside or on the patio. When done, place the beverage in the empty six pack container and then go get another one if you choose. At the end of your stay, bring the bottles up to the counter and pay for them all at once. If you want to pay for them one at a time you can do that too. There are so many different types of beer from lagers to ales to pale ales and the list goes on. You can either ask Gene for recommendations or go exploring on your own. If you know beers you will figure it out pretty quickly. If you are not familiar with beers it will take you a bit longer but be patient because it is worth it. I had the burgers and they were good. I had mine cooked medium and they tasted like a burger you would cook in your backyard. The price was reasonable. The fries were a little salty for my liking and they were shoestring fries. My only concern was the overwhelming look of a cooler full of beers. I really didn't know where to start and since there were so many craft beers I really didn't know one from the other. I would have liked to have some recommendations for beginners but that was my frustration. I went with what I knew and that somewhat limited my experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone that likes a chill atmosphere and talking with friends over beers. They even have board games if that is your kind of thing. I drank a Woodchuck Cider, a Florida Ale and a really good root beer that almost tasted like Sarsaparilla.

Really cool, young atmosphere, with friendly staff. I love the fact you can grab any beer, anytime, and try something new. I'm sure they rotate some of the beers to keep it fun and exciting for patrons. The location is nice too; it's kind of off the ave and it feels quaint. If you like beer and good tunes, check this place out.

Oh, yes. Yo Philly, if you're looking for the Floridian equivalent of Hawthorne's this is it. Open seating, chill atmosphere, a huge fridge of beers and super fresh food. Zack and I had a few beers here, "watched football" outside and split the crab and avocado salad. It was 5pm and we had dinner plans at 6:30. We wished we could have stayed longer. The owner was super nice and literally everyone in the establishment looked happy. Go here.

Our friends were here the other night but we couldn't join so we stopped by tonight and I'm so glad we did! I don't really like beer but they have a huge selection of ciders that are right up my alley. I had a strawberry cider and a blackberry cider, both were yummy. We also sampled the stuffed jalapeños and risotto balls...delicious! The service was also top notch, Kyle was very informative and helpful. We can't wait to return to sample more of their vast selection.

This is my kind of beer hangout! Some prefer a divebar whereas others prefer something more upscale. The Beer Trade Company is a chill spot to enjoy good beer and food. For those already in the "know" then you will immediately draw a connection to Ft. Lauderdale's Riverside Market. The Beer Trade Company felt like the little brother of Riverside. Unquestionably, Riverside is better, but Beer Trade is special company for a unique beer bar concept. Beer Trade is lined with glass-doored refrigerators filled with beer. I have had so many thousands of beers in my life that I judge a place by the diversity of their beers. I can easily say that Beer Trade has beers that are hard to find or totally unfound at other south Florida beer bars. Therefore, this place is terrific for my fellow beer connoisseurs. The uniqueness of this place, like Riverside, is that the beer is self serve and on the honor system. You open the door, select the beer you want, pop the top, and enjoy. At the end of your stay you go to the front desk and pay for all you have consumed. I enjoyed the seating here as well. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. I opted for sitting outside, enjoying the marvelous weather and drinking beers. My only negative experience here was that I never had the opportunity to order any food. I sat outside drinking for about 45 minutes and nobody ever came to me to take my order. You'd think if the customers are serving themselves beer, that they could at least offer five star food service. On the way out they bragged how good their food was, but as I explained, I was never given an opportunity to order.

This place is pretty cool. You go inside, pick your own beer out of the cooler, and grab yourself a frosted glass if you choose. The inside is pretty small but the patio is pretty awesome. They have all types of games you can play too. I was only there for an hour but I will definitely be back because I just know this place would make for an awesome evening. Looks like Happy Hour is till 7 pm ($2 off beer and wine and 1/2 priced apps). I didn't get to try the food but the rest of the experience was enough to bring me back.

My brother and I accidentally stumbled upon this joint last night during our "sibling" date. What a pleasant surprise! The music was pumpin' but loud enough where you can still hold a conversation. Beers are based on their "honor" system. Overall vibe is very chill & laid back!! **Bonus** : the dude that works there looks just like Opie from Sons of Anarchy! I wanted to ask for an autograph!! Lol!! Def recommend to for a great night with friends, double dates or solo!! Cheers!!

This is quickly becoming THE go-to spot for beer in Delray Beach. Hubby and I have been here a handful of times now, and I love the simple fact that I can go grab whatever beer I want from the case, consume it, and pay for my bottles before we leave. No where else around Delray offers this type of service. I love it! For Happy Hour, try the Risotto Balls. They are half price at Happy Hour, but that's not really the point. They are filled with cheese (LOTs of cheese!) and risotto and are so tasty! The hummus/pita is good too, but honestly, just get the risotto balls and be done with it. They are the perfect accompaniment to your beer choices. I also love that we can play Cards Against Humanity at our table, and get our game on. For a casual night out (no hoochies here!), head to Beer Trade and get your beer, game, and risotto balls on! Go for it!

We really liked the casual vibe of this bottled beer bar. A few minimal high top tables indoors with a wall of refrigerated beer bottles. You select what you want on the honor system, and pay for your empty bottles. We sat outside under the awning with the pups and could easily see the flat screen TV and football game thru the clear window. They have a short menu of appetizers and mains. We ordered the chicken tacos and they were just ok. Since the bottled beer is all about selection, I think the biggest difference they could make would be in the food. I would go again but with so many great b places to eat in Delray, I would go for a drink and save my appetite for a restaurant down the road.

Seriously, this place is a hidden gem! I was yearning for a cold one with a cozy outdoor setting when my man suggested this place, needless to say I totally fell in love. A wide variety of beer to choose from and an adorable, relaxing patio. (did I mention they play the JAMS) Many games available to play if you wish such as jenga, cross 4, uno, ect. I'll be back many times.

Food was pretty good and really friendly staff. Also, we got bottomless mimosas and despite our best intention, we only finished one bottle of sparkling wine, but it was still fun to try to drink mimosas all morning.. We might have had too much to drink last night, so we didn't have any beer. The selection looked good tho! My only recommendation is that instead of serving peak organic beer from Maine, you all try Maine beer co! It's way more Maine, and delicious..

  • Stephen S.

Super friendly owner, more than willing to customize the food order. Love the concept. Great atmosphere.

  • Greg B.

The concept here is similar to Riverside Market in Fort Lauderdale. You grab a beer from the fridge, you find a seat, either indoors or out in the cafe section, and you enjoy the atmosphere. There are things I liked about this place. First, I liked the wide variety of beers. This place takes pride in that. Second, if so inclined, you can also grab a frosty mug from the bottom shelf of the fridge (the one near the entrance way). Additionally, I thought the food was pretty damn good. I had the chicken wings, which were really good. I also ordered some jalapeño poppers, as well. On this particular Saturday afternoon, the Belmont Stakes was on, and a fairly nice-sized crowd gathered outside right around the start of the race. This place is a few blocks off of Atlantic Avenue, and is a good alternative to the craziness of the main strip. It's off of the beaten path a little, and is a good venue for chilling out, and having a beer and a bite. Looking forward to returning at some point. As someone who travels from Pompano, I don't make it up here often, but I'll make it a point to stop by.

    (4)
  • Adam S.

A great spot to chill, have some beers and grab a bite, especially during happy hour when beers are discounted by $2 and apps are half off. The selection of craft beer is tremendous for a relatively small spot, and while the bottles and cans rotate often with new beers to try, chances are you can always find a couple of standbys that you've had before and want to enjoy again. As mentioned by others, everything is on the honor system. Grab a beer, pick a clean frosty pint glass from the fridge and enjoy. When you're done, bring up your empties and cash out. There are no waiters hounding you but the host - whoever it is - is always happy to take your food order or offer up some suggestions. Plus, there are a handful of TVs inside and two outside, any of which will be changed at your request. Good people, good vibe, good food and good beer. Tough to beat!

This place is pretty cool. I can dig it. Its small but cozy. Its very clean and the service is amazing. They have massive fridges filled with beer. Anything your little heart desires can found there. I tried a couple of beers; some were good, some were ok but beer is not my thing. And for those of you who are like me and prefer a little something else, they offer a decent selection of wines. I went for ciders instead. I've been trying to get into ciders but unfortunately for me Beer Trade didnt have too many of them. Maybe it was just this particular night? Who knows. But im planning on going back to find out!! The only reason I took a star away was because they have their tvs on wayyyyyy too loud. Im all for tvs but when you have to wait for it to lower a bit in order to speak, you know its way too loud. I plan to go back and see if this is an usual occurrence or just a mishap from that particular day. Either way, great spot to hang out and grab a beer.

  • Kyle W.

One of the best Happy Hour's in DRB; EASILY!! Rotating beer selection and a small selection of wines and ciders. Very chill self serve system that allows for hanging out at whatever pace you desire. This is single handedly becoming the fastest growing hot spot in DelRay; its busier every time we go.

You looking for beer they got it. Since craft beer became popular thousands of places had pop out around florida like crazy, but there is only a few that shine. I work in Delray area and I used to visit a local brewery around the corner from my office but I am a beer drinker and as a craft beer lover I demand variety and guess what!? Beer Trade has it. I came across these guys a few months ago( I should've give them a review long time ago) when I was visiting Delray for the Buss Loop and Beer Trade was our first stop. Let me tell you something it was like love at first sight from the decoration, the awesome vibe from the people who works there to those marvelous refrigerator packed with one of the best selections of craft beer I've ever seen. After that day I been visiting beer trade religiously every Thursday and when I can I do it more. Unfortunately, I live in Ft Lauderdale and its a little bit of a drive although is worth it. The way this place operates is simple, you go to fridge and grab a beer of your choice find a place where to sit and enjoy. Through the week the have specials on food and their famous happy hour (1 dollar off from five to seven). I have had their fish tacos which are amazing! Like amazing hands down one the best ones I ever had! And I am Mexican so trust me I had a lot of tacos before lol. I also had the burger which on Tuesday are two for one really good too but not as good as the tacos (sorry I'm a taco lover). About their beer selection if you are overwhelmed because there are lots of drinks you don't know what to have, not worries this guys got you not matter if you are a pilsner lover( they don't discriminate) to a IPA lover they will help you to select the best beer for your taste buds. Overall I love this place my only complaint is they are not closer to home, so if you love beer and don't want to brake the piggy bank having a few cold ones(like in another similar places) beer trade is your place. I wish nothing but the best to this guys enjoy.

Sometimes I just want to go to a place and have a beer. And I don't want to read a menu, I want to look at labels. In fact, I would love to look at a wall of beer. Maybe even a refrigerator line wall. Better yet I would like to go to a place, pick up beer from the refrigerator wall sit down and drink it. And if there's a kitchen to serve me food if I'm hungry that won't be bad either. Well folks that's what you have here. Beer trade co. is exactly that. As their shirts say, grab a beer and chill. You literally walk into this small place go up to the refrigerator pick your beer sit down drink it and then when you're leaving you pay. There is indoor seating outdoor seating. Great music playing. Didn't get to try the food but the menu looks pretty good. Their selection of beer is great too. They have everything from ciders, to porters, to IPAs to anything. They have some local breweries as well like Duesouth. Those of you in Broward County have probably already heard of this concept. There's a place called Riverside that everyone goes to that does exactly this. But I'm in Delray girl. And the fact that they brought this concept here makes me very happy. It's right next to my favorite paint place. I literally just walk in grab a beer hang out and pay when I leave. Nothing else to it. During the World Cup over the summer, this place would pack up. And it gets pretty busy on the weekends. So prepare yourselves. But it's a great atmosphere.

This place is great. Reminds me of a mini Riverside Market. The food is amazing and I recommend sitting outside on a beautiful day. The beer selection is great and the people are friendly. I can't wait to come back.

Love the honor system. Love the beer selection, it's taken me years to find a selection of blueberry beer in Florida! The board games are awesome. Really chill place. Wish it was a bit bigger though. Anyplace with the beer selection this has gets a 5. Especially when you can walk right in and open it.

While, I hate to share this gem, I have to admit this is our new favorite spot! Since our first visit, we have literally been here at least once a week. We love the chill vibe and always find a good set of people visiting here. We even got several tables in on a game of Heads Up late into a Friday night! While the menu is somewhat small, there's nothing bad on it! I've had a few different items, but keep going back to the spicy chicken wrap mmmm!! My husband loves the pork sliders. He's had the stuffed jalapenos - be warned that they are extremely spicy, if you're into that! We also liked the mac n cheese grilled cheese and loved the buffalo chicken grilled cheese (does it get better than that!). They've had some other special grilled cheeses that we just weren't adventurous enough to try, but I'm sure they're great! We haven't tried the wings yet, but several different people have told us that they're REALLY good! I always say i'm going to try them next time i'm there, but then I distracted by something else on their menu. After all these great things, what really is the cherry on top is that they have such a large variety of drinks! Each week they have even more new and different ciders, which is huge for me! They even will accept requests for any beer/cider that you would like them to order. I won't recommend that you visit here, since it's already starting to get too popular ;) But here's to hoping that their back beer garden is built quickly!

Amazing concept why did it take so long to figure out guests want to choose and grab their own beers? What completely took me by surprise was how good their food is the burger rivaled Charm City Its not a traditional restaurant or bar but come with open mind and you will be rewarded quality and sincerity

I'm not normally a guy that enjoys going to a bar that specializes in craft / house beers, but this place has got me hooked. The entire concept of Beer Trade is a new, fresh and modern approach to the local "beer establishments" popping up around town. I love the huge variety of bottled beers available and the causal atmosphere. Visited Beer Trade on a weekend for a quick brunch and literally spent half the day meeting new people, drinking great beers and enjoying their awesome food. Defiantly my new go to place in Delray and encourage those looking for a casual local spot versus the trendy/hip scene taking over Atlantic Ave.

We were in the area and just looking for a place with a menu everyone could agree on. After a little bit of searching through yelp, the menu at Beer Trade Co. managed to spark everyone's taste buds so off we went. It was located away from the busy strip, but like many restaurants in downtown Delray, there was an outdoor seating area that included those inviting outdoor couches and a couple of high-top tables - nice. The indoor area is small but has a good vibe and there is maybe 5-6 more high-top tables, a jukebox, and a couple TVs. What immediately caught my attention were the "convenience store refrigerators" completely stocked with a very large variety of beer. A server approached us before we sat down and let us know we were welcome to wander on over and grab any beer(s) we like. I wasn't even planning on drinking, but if you put it that way... so the experimenting began and so did the fun. As we enjoyed our drinks, we browsed their one page menu. Everyone quickly found their meal of choice and ordered. We drank, laughed and enjoyed the liberties of intermingling beer brands and tastes because that's what America's about - am I right?! When the food arrived we all chowed down - no complaints it was all great. Once your done you take your empty bottles which have been collected in the beer carton you are provided with and hopefully you're buzz is still around to help you cope with the financial damage. And really, for DT Delray the prices were not all that bad. Definitely a fun place, fun concept and I hope to be back!

Simply put, Beer Trade is one of the coolest places in Not just Delray, but all of Palm Beach County! Unique concept! The beer selection is awesome and the prices are positively surprising. Do yourself a favor and order some food! Their menu is sometimes overlooked, but you will be blown away by the quality of their food! The weekly specials Tues-Thursday are impossible to pass up! I recommend the wings, best in Palm Beach!

First and definitely won't be the last time back! Love the vibe and the beer recommendations and "education" was spot on! Simple and perfect menu that compliments any beer well. Not an overwhelming or intimidating number of choices. Had the honor of putting up the last bottle caps on the wall of bottle cap art. Can't wait to go back with more friends next time. Hope there is cards against humanity and heads up on the game shelf and corn hole would make it an even more perfect hangout. Hopefully all these stellar reviews don't draw crazy crowds and ruin the charm and "secret" nature of this hangout! Def a must!

Dropped in one sunny afternoon since we wanted to try a little bar that's tucked away from the touristy Atlantic Ave. We noticed this as soon as we saw Vino Van Gogh was next to it (and Bamboo Cafe). Those two have been bookmarked for some time now. Fabulous music was already playing outdoors as we stepped out of the car. Cozy DIY pallet seats and table are set up outside with 2 TVs. We were greeted by a colorful man that then explained the whole idea behind Beer Trade Co's beer serving. Basically, they have half of a wall of glass window fridges stocked with mainly craft beer and a couple of regulars. They have canned beer, bottled beer, 40 ozs, small and big bottles of wine, and also non-alcoholic beverages for the DDs and kids. The unique thing about this place is that there is no "bar" and "bartender" as you only have to walk up to the fridge and grab a beer without having to wait to get the server's attention and keep your buzz going. As we chose our beer, we noticed that they are not at all marked with prices... unless it's the last one which we noticed were $3. So there was no way to identify if we were getting expensive beer. Could have asked, but didn't. We sat down indoors and ordered some lunch. My husband is a fan of wings while I am a fan of spicy chicken. Ordered the wings and I ordered the spicy chicken wrap with the ranch on the side. The wings almost looked burnt, but the server explained that it's the lager they use to make the beer batter that makes it look like that. My husband took a bite and smiled. He loved it and how different it was from the other "beer battered" wings he's had. Crispy and flavorful. My wrap consisted of chopped fried chicken, cucumbers and carrots wrapped in a white tortilla. I was a bit let down because it turned out that the spicy part of the "spicy chicken wrap" is the ranch which I requested to be put to the side as I am not a fan of ranch at all. It was okay, the frying could have been pulled back a bit and I would have preferred a flavored (spinach or tomato) and slightly grilled tortilla. I think the next time I ask for a wrap, I'll see if they can do a grilled version instead. As for the need of spiciniess, I added the Sriracha hot sauce that was on the table already. The fries that came with my meal were actually really good. The bill came, and yep, while we were unsure of how much our beers were before hand, the bill was a bit expensive like almost $6 per bottle of beer..... but I guess the low priced menu and amazing music (that was already on my playlist) balanced everything out. Oh yeah, they have 4 tvs indoors, too. Despite the $$$ of beer, we very likely will return for the uniqueness, wings, and artsy environment. Just remember to ask and see if there's craft beer options that's within your price range.

Yay! They have a yelp page now! When we first started going here I couldn't find it on yelp! It's an awesome spot. The crab and avocado salad is my favourite. The jalapeno poppers are awesome but be warned, they are very very spicy! Wings are great, lime curry chicken sandwich is awesome, basically anything you get here is going to be good. The tom & mozz is good, as are the other salads. I love the ambience. Grab your own beer, play some games, hang with friends. Good music. The owner, Gene, is awesome too. Super great guy. Overall, this is one of our go-to spots when we want to go out for food and drinks.

Summary - friendly people and fantastic selection of beer with some good home made food to nibble on. This place reminds me of when I was growing up in the late 80's. Back before cell phones etc, when you had to drive by a friend's house to see if they were home and and if the garage was open it meant come on in and let's hang out. That is what this place reminds me off. A friends garage where you get your own beer from the fridge sit down at a bench and simply hangout with friends and shoot the shit. Nothing fancy, just a comfortable place with really nice people. Go here to get away from the pretentiousness of downtown, chill, relax and talk. Drop the electronic gadgets and talk to people . Don't forget to have a beer that you never have had before either. The selection is vast. I would give the place four stars for its simplicity and coolness. It gets 3 only because of its simplicity. It's just like how I would have my place if I owned it.

We stopped in here after Vino Van Gogh (another 5-star locale) for a quick bite to eat and we were blown away. My boyfriend had the chicken tacos with pineapple and he said they were amazing. I wouldn't know, though... He never let me try a bite!! I had the chicken and waffle fries with the honey jalapeño sauce and it was to die for. I just about licked my plate. Essentially, this place is a respectable convenience store that you can have great food within. Walk-up coolers offer a huuuugggeee variety of bears, guys walk around a take orders, and you pay for your beers/food at the register. I know I'm going to be coming back here quite often.

Cool place, great beer and food but beware of the beer prices. There aren't any! You pay for the beers after you drink it and one of the beers alone totaled to $25. They really need to put prices on their beer.

This place is very cool. I love the chill atmosphere. If you've never been and like a fun, casual place with great beer selections and optional board games, I would highly recommend this place! It's very similar to a place in Fort Lauderdale called Riverside Market. Basically it's set up like a convenient store, but the glass coolers are all just filled with different types of beer. You can walk in, grab a beer and a chilled glass of your choice, then find a seat either inside or out, sit, enjoy, repeat. As you accumulate empty bottles, there is a server that will bring you an empty 6 pack to keep your bottles in until you are ready to pay. Once you have fulfilled your thirst for craft beverages, you just take your collection of empty bottles to the cashier desk and pay. Easy enough. These types of places are great for me because I can only drink cider or gluten free beers and this place has several options for me to choose from, where your typical restaurant will hopefully at least have something like Angry Orchard. Here I can try gluten free beers I've never heard of, pear ciders, berry, pineapple...many to choose from. There is also a food menu which is decent and well priced. I had the wings and my friend had tacos, i think...both of us were happy with our choices. And surprisingly, they also had a Happy Hour which we caught the end of one night, which was pretty decent as well. This is so far my favorite chill spot to grab a couple beers (or ciders) in Delray.

I never knew this place existed until the other night. A group of us popped in here to drink the night away. There is a quite a selection of beers to choose from. I don't drink beer, so I had to find something that wasn't. Wine was also available by the bottle and I wasn't feeling up to having it. I stuck with the pear cider and it was definitely up my alley. 2 bottles down and I was feeling pretty good. Football season is back and the games were on TV for everyone to watch. There is an outside covered patio area for the ones that don't want to sit inside. And yes, they have food here. I didn't even realize there was a kitchen behind me until someone mentioned about getting a bite to eat off of the menu. I got the Cuban sandwich minus the pickles with French fries. It made a cozy midnight meal. The concept of helping yourself to whatever you want to drink, pop the top, enjoy the booze, and bring them up to the front to pay on your way out is pretty laid back and wicked cool.

Stumbled upon this spot while on a late night boarding trip. What an awesome score! Just like Riverside in Fort Lauderdale, patrons choose a beer, grab it out of the fridge and get right to drinking. Maybe grab a boardgame on the way to you sofa or table. When youre ready to call it a night, head over to the register with your "empties" and pay the nice gentleman. Fantastic outdoor seating. My battery was too lpw for the camera app to work :'''( No worries, I'll snap a bunch next time! Love it.

This is totally California style bar drinking... Just go in and grab a bottle or can of beer from one of the five refrigerators and sit wherever you like. There's a good size selection of national and craft beers, although I would like to see more craft and less nationals. The bar is big enough to usually find a seat and if nice outside the outdoors seating is terrific. If conversation dies down just grab one of the many board games off of the shelf and enjoy. The food was actually pretty good but the menu is limited. Service was outstanding and the fact that you just take your empty beer bottles to the front register to pay is a great concept. I'll be back many times for sure.

Heard from a friend this place has the best burgers in Delray. Not even close. Average burger - at best - with slow, inattentive service. Might be a good place for those who want drink beer, but that's about it

Fantastic concept!!...I can help myself to any beer in the fridgeS, grab a cold glass and go at my own pace!..great simple atmosphere, great beer selection, pleasant in general. Of note....I stopped by the other day at noon, they were not due to open until until 5 but some of the guys were there working and the happily let me help myself to a few beers.....customer for life!!

I could not have been more pleased with my experience at the Beer Trade co. Phenomenal beer selection with a staff that makes you feel comfortable about having several of their delectable 'crafties'. What I found most astounding was the quality of their food. To the critic, you'd never expect a decent meal from an establishment whose business revolves around the sale of beer. Go here. You won't regret it. Good music and great times.

My girlfriend and I frequent this place and both love the selection of craft beers and delicious finger food. Staff is friendly and ambience is hip and fun. Board games are available to play and there's coozie's to use for your beer. Love the place, definitely a change of pace from 'The Ave'

The food was absolutely delicious and worthy of a 5-star restaurant. Co-owner Chris is knowledgeable and friendly and takes time with his customer. It seems as though this place has developed a well deserved cult following. The chicken tacos with pineapple salsa were absolutely amazing with a little siracha. Additionally the beer selection is top notch and perfect for any beer lover. The only thing that could improve this place is better signage. If you're a foodie or a beer lover, this is the place to visit Delray Beach.

Happy to see this business step into the increasingly pretentious Delray scene. Beer trade company is very clear about what they are about; a great ambiance, a varied and well chosen beer selection, and food that pairs well with both. My boyfriend and I have been here on Friday nights, looking for a drink and decent food. We've had a few of their beers, which we happily select from their serve yourself beer fridge. One or more of the owners have always been there, and have been our servers. They even recognized us on our second visit, which was at least three weeks later. We've had the old bay spiced wings, pulled pork sliders, Mac and cheese, and Caesar salads. We always have too much food and end up taking some home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a low key night out, without the fanfare and crowds of Atlantic ave.

We had probably one of the best date nights in a long time here! Fabulous selection of craft beers and the chance to sample something new is the best part, although they do also have some pretty tasty food. Board games outside and nice comfortable places to sit made for a very fun night. Of course, it's a little pricy, but we expected that with the huge variety we had to choose from. Loved it and will be back! Oh also the jalapeño poppers were THE HOTTEST I've ever tasted! Be careful!

My new favorite Delray spot! So many beer choices, different grilled cheese special everyday, and an awesome small business owner doing his thing.. I started a yelp to give this place a review!

Great place to go to and hang out with friends to eat and grab some brews! The food is amazing and reasonably priced. I mean who has market price for their grilled cheese?!?! Beer trade co. does. And its awesome every time. The staff is awesome and the owner is always around talking to everyone. Great place and will not disappoint.

They have such a great selection of beer. They had all sorts of IPAs, my favorite, along with all sorts of seasonal brews. The owners were there and were very friendly. I had a great foreign beer as well as one from California. There were lots of things I want to try over my next few visits. It was busy but not too much a scene, the perfect place to start a Saturday night.

Applebee is an American full-service restaurant brand popularly known for its signature Riblets. Applebee was conceptualized in 1980 by Bill and TJ Palmer in Atlanta, Georgia. At first, the restaurant was named T.J. Applebee's RX for Edibles and Elixirs. After the concept was acquired by W.R. Grace and Company, the restaurant was renamed as Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar. Later the company and the Applebee's concept changed hands with Abe Gustin and John Hamra who started the first Applebee's franchise restaurant in Kansas City.

Later in 2007, IHOP Corp. now known as DineEquity, Inc. acquired Applebee's and began their journey together to make Applebee's the world's largest full-service restaurant chain. Today, Applebee's serves at more than 1,830 locations worldwide. The Applebee's menu ranges from Appetizers and Salads to heavy meals consisting of ribs and steak.
